Ágnes Jobst’s book The Operation of the Stasi in Hungary gives an insight into the relationship between the Stasi and the Hungarian authorities and the difficulties of dismantling the Iron Curtain.

I am very interested in the decades before the regime change in Hungary, so when I saw Ágnes Jobst’s book A Stasi operation in Hungary hidden in a box under the table during this year’s Holiday Book Week, I didn’t think much about buying it.
